Service Leadership Institute for grades 6-11

Spark the Wave, a nonprofit organization that empowers youth to be stronger volunteers and community leaders, presents its premier summer Service Leadership Institute, Wave Week. Participants come together to gain valuable leadership skills, meet like-minded peers, and create action plans to change the world through 5 days of big time fun. Students in grades 6 – 11 during the 2017 – 2018 school year are welcome to join Wave Week @ Villanova University (July 9th – 13th) or Wave Week @ University of Maryland (July 23rd – 27th). Through hands-on volunteer opportunities in the community and on-site service projects, participants earn 40 hours of community service for attending Wave Week!
