PennSERVE Announces a Request for Applications for 2018-2019 Pennsylvania AmeriCorps State Formula Grants

Grants are available for the operation of AmeriCorps national service programs by community and faith-based organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions. Planning grants are also available.

A Notice of Intent to Apply is required to be eligible for this competition and is due by Monday, April 9, at 5:00 pm. Applications are due Thursday, April 26, at 5:00 pm.

Introduction to AmeriCorps webinars, application technical assistance webinars, and a limited series of in-person sessions will be held through March and April. More information on the webinars, in-person sessions, and the funding opportunity is available on the PennSERVE website: http://www.dli.pa.gov/pennserve

Each year, PennSERVE supports over 1,300 individuals in Pennsylvania as they meet community needs through service in AmeriCorps. With funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service that is administered by PennSERVE, AmeriCorps members dedicate themselves to intensive community service. The experience meets critical needs and provides on-the-job career training.
