Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
An integral part of The Franklin Institute’s Marketing Team, the Marketing Manager is responsible for copywriting, contributing to the develop of overall Marketing campaign strategy, and targeting outreach in both traditional and non-traditional ways. Manage creative materials to maintain a consistent brand image across all mediums.
The Marketing Manager is also responsible for writing marketing collateral and publications, as assigned, with supervision of Director of Marketing and Public Relations, managing the creative process with the in-house design department to create all collateral material and publications for the Marketing Department, including promotions, group sales, membership and public relations. Strategizes on overall Marketing campaigns with the Director of Marketing and Public Relations, with a specific focus on how to fill in perceived gaps in market coverage and extend the brand of The Franklin Institute beyond special traveling exhibitions. Assist with the integration of digital marketing into traditional campaigns. Execute promotional details of media and secondary promotional partners. Staff all marketing events, along with additional duties in support of the Marketing Department as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree. Digital Marketing and Social Media experience required, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Marketing, Copyrighting, or related Marketing field. Excellent written and oral communication skills essential and must be detail oriented and highly organized. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of audiences. Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends and evenings.
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
