The City of Philadelphia funds this scholarship program and has assisted more than 2,600 students in earning a college degree.

Students who receive the Mayor’s Scholarship (a different scholarship program) to the University of Pennsylvania are not eligible to receive the Philadelphia City Scholarship. Awards are renewable.
