Educating After Violence: Trauma-informed practices for adult educators

Cost: $40/person, $30/person discounted rate for adjuncts and other part-time educators
Are you an educator working with adults who have experienced trauma or violence? As an educator, are you sometimes frustrated or confused by your students’ behavior in your classroom? Do you want to learn new ways to create a welcoming environment in your classroom that addresses some of the barriers to learning your students bring? This workshop will help you understand some of the causes of student behavior and offer strategies educators may use to help students.
