CBMA and Foundation Center release Quantifying Hope report
The Campaign for Black Male Achievement (CBMA) and the Foundation Center are pleased to announce the 2017 edition of Quantifying Hope: Philanthropic Support for Black Men and Boys.
As the follow-up to our 2015 report, Quantifying Hope analyzes foundation funding explicitly targeted towards improving the life outcomes of Black men and boys. The report also examines strategies and milestones in the Black Male Achievement field, and how philanthropy can build on this work for stronger coordination and greater impact.
These findings demonstrate a hopeful continuation of investment across philanthropy and other sectors to advance Black Male Achievement, as well as promising practices and strategies that cities across the country are using to reverse the disparities and inequities disproportionately impacting Black males.
