Most start up nonprofits are driven by the goodwill of individuals who have had their lives impacted by some external event and who want to do something to help the broader community cope with that issue. But, good intentions do not necessarily lead to successful results. This workshop will provide detailed instruction on taking an idea and moving it forward to acceptance of a 501(c) (3) application. The IRS has made it easier for startup organizations to gain nonprofit status. Workshop Facilitator: Alan Frankel, VEC consultant, RSVP and Lead VEC. To register, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/getting-to-501c3-status-a-must-for-any-start-up-nonprofit-tickets-35978825636 or contact Jolene Ewing (610) 834-1040, ext. 11
All workshops will be held at RSVP, 901 East 8th Avenue, Suite 200, King of Prussia, 19406.
Each workshop opens at 9:30 for coffee and networking, sessions begin at 10:00 am to noon
Workshops are free for current or past clients; $20 for non-clients.
