Food and housing insecurity on college campuses

College Possible released a podcast exploring new research from the National Student Campaign against Hunger and Homelessness, which found that 22 percent of college students experience food insecurity, and among them, one in six also face housing insecurity. College Possible participant and University of Maryland student Mai Yer Yang shares her experiences with financial barriers, and Sara Goldrick-Rab of Temple University and Timothy Renick of Georgia State University discuss solutions and innovative strategies to help more students afford and complete college.
