Serving all Temple students and recent alumni, the Career Center provides a full range of services to enhance student professional and career development, graduate school preparation, and optimize internship and employment opportunities. The Career Coach provides individual and group career guidance in an effort to assist students in developing the competencies needed to make decisions about their choice of major and career options.

The incumbent will interpret career assessments, assist with resume and cover letter writing, conduct mock interviews, and develop internship and job search strategies. In addition to job search advice, the Career Coach will assist students with decisions to attend graduate school and the application process. The Career Coach will facilitate professional development workshops and coordinate university-wide career events.

The Career Coach will assist all students and alumni who visit the Career Center. The Career Coach will be assigned specific industries and student groups to focus on. The incumbent will build relationships and collaborate with faculty, staff and students to deliver classroom presentations and develop programs related to professional development of their specific groups. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least four(4)years of directly related experience. Experience in professional development coaching: resume writing, interview preparation and job search strategies. Experience in creating and implementing professional development programs. Experience presenting to large and small groups using PowerPoint or other software. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
