Call for Presentations
PACDC’s Community Development Leadership Institute is accepting proposals to present at its Equitable Development Conference on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. This full day conference will be held in Center City Philadelphia across from City Hall at the Philadelphia Health Management Corporation (PHMC) and the Temple University Center City Campus.
Dr. Mindy Fullilove, educator, psychiatrist, and author, will be giving the keynote address. Her work explores the emotional and cognitive impact of urban renewal with an emphasis on displacement and its cumulative effect on community cohesion. Learn more about Dr. Fullilove here.
We are in search of innovative, thought-provoking presentations that explore the complex issues facing communities grappling to ensure that the successful growth of our city is not limited to the few or based on zip code. We ask that presentations focus on concrete and effective solutions and pathways that community developers and their partners can realistically implement through the lens of Equitable Development.

All proposals must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017. Please send your completed
