Winter Break Literacy Activities for Families and Children PreK-3
Posted by School District of Philadelphia on December 19, 2016
In conjunction with the READ! by 4th campaign the School District of Philadelphia website will have literacy activities and free access to exciting, vibrant, digital books for families of students in PreK – Grade 3 to use with their children during the winter break. Visit the District homepage at http://www.philasd.org and click on the Winter Break Literacy Activities for Families and Children PreK-3 banner. It is recommended that parents spend at least 30 minutes a day using the activities and digital books with their children.
Reading proficiency by third grade is an important predictor of high school graduation and career success. Let’s read together to make our children’s future successful.
