The Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition catalyzes game-changing innovations in education. As the nation’s leading business plan competition, the EBPC attracts innovative ideas in education from around the world and awards over $100,000 in cash prizes to high-impact entrepreneurs seeking to solve the most pressing problems in education. Applicants are encouraged to address at least one of the following themes in their innovation:

Timeline
➢ Application Period Opens on January 4, 2017
➢ All Applications Due By 11:59 PM EST February 8, 2017
➢ Finalists Announced March 28, 2017
➢ Live Competition Finals take place in Philadelphia on April 25, 2017

2017 Competition Details
➢ Ventures can be aimed anywhere along the spectrum of P-20 education as well as school, community, adult and workplace-based learning
➢ For-profit and nonprofit ventures are welcome
➢ The Competition is open to applicants worldwide
➢ $100k+ in prizes, plus investments and incubation services for entrepreneurs invited into the Education Design Studio Inc. (EDSi)
➢ The organization/idea entered cannot have raised more than $500k in investment funds and/or grossed more than $200k since the beginning of its legal existence
