The Teachers Institute of Philadelphia (TIP) is pleased to announce its 2017 program of professional development seminars for teachers in the School District of Philadelphia!
The goal of the seminars is to give teachers the opportunity to expand their knowledge of content and write an original curriculum unit to use in their classroom. Seminars are led by Penn professors who are experts in their respective fields, and are open to all full-time K-12 teachers in District-managed schools. Meetings take place weekly from January to May on Penn’s campus, and unless otherwise noted, are scheduled for Tuesdays, 4:30-6:30pm. Upon successful completion of the program, Fellows earn 30 Act 48 credits and a stipend.
