This month we recommend a ground-breaking study, Learning from Summer: Effects of Voluntary Summer Learning Programs on Low-Income Urban Youth, authored by the RAND Corporation and The Wallace Foundation, published this month, and perhaps the largest research study ever conducted on voluntary summer learning.
