New National FAFSA Campaign

A New National FAFSA Campaign
Beginning September 30, NCAN launched a brand new campaign to help high school seniors from low-income households get money for college.
Last year, more than $2.7 BILLION in financial aid went unclaimed. We know there are students out there who could really use this money, and our digital advertising campaign will aim to get their attention.
The campaign is called Form Your FutureTM. With the help of celebrities and social media influencers, we’ll show how the odds are in students’ favor to apply for student aid. Some stats we’ll focus on are:
Students have an 85% chance of getting some kind of student financial aid.
92% of applicants from low-income households receive grant money, which never has to be paid back.
Many of you already rally students in your communities to complete the FAFSA, making their postsecondary dreams a reality. We encourage you to consider using this campaign to make your work easier. Please also share this message about the campaign with other organizations or schools in your community who might be willing to begin providing FAFSA support to students.
For those who might be new to the cause of FAFSA completion, we’d love for you to be a part of this growing movement. Your participation can make all the difference in your community.

We look forward to making this campaign a huge success and seeing many more students get the money they need for college.
