Health Insurance Navigator, Health Federation of Philadelphia

To facilitate consumer enrollment in a Qualified Health Plan (QHP) through the Federal Marketplace and/or other health insurance programs such as Medicaid and CHIP by providing fair, impartial, and accurate information. Assist consumers with submitting eligibility applications, clarifying distinctions among QHPs, and helping qualified individuals make informed decisions during health plan selection. The Navigator will conduct consumer assistance and outreach and education activities to consumers and businesses about the availability of these programs and insurance affordability to encourage participation. Provide all services for the public good and serve as a resource to all consumers, particularly from communities that are under-served and under-represented in the current health insurance market.

While intended as full-time, individuals interested in pursuing as a part-time position should submit an application for consideration with an explanation of their availability and situation.
