Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc. is currently seeking a Part Time Intake / Data Entry Specialist to work with Family Social Services. The Part-time Intake/Data Specialist responsibilities will include data entry, conducting the intake interview, the program eligibility verification, needs assessment, crisis intervention, multiple referrals, tracking of clients, and completion of monthly reporting.

Essential Functions
1. Conduct intake interviews for all clients and complete the client assessment form for individuals or families to determine their social service needs. In addition, ensure eligible intake clients complete LIHEAP and Crisis applications and counsel them in any energy related issues based on program guidelines.

2. Record each service and contact with clients into the funder’s and Unidad database and maintain a file for each client with the proper documentation based on program guidelines.

3. Submit referrals of clients to outside organizations and whenever deemed as necessary to other programs within our agency and conduct follow-up after referrals were made.

4. Conduct periodic follow-up contacts with clients to reassess individual or family needs.

5. Work closely with the program Manager and FSS staff to monitor and ensure that clients’ files are up to date.

6. Participate in the development and maintenance of referral resources for clients.

7. Assist program Manager in the development of educational as well as outreach materials as requested. In addition, participate in outreach activities both to the community and to other
service providers/agencies.

8. Translate materials from English to Spanish when needed.

9. Organizes and facilitates workshops related to client benefits eligibility/application and other FSS program services, in partnership with other Congreso programs, as needed.

10. Complete data entry in Unidad, ECA database and any other program application.

Minimum Experience:
 Knowledgeable about and sensitive to the issues affecting the North Philadelphia/Latino Community.
 Computer proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite required.
 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
 Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Minimum Education: High School or GED
