New Book on Integrative Learning for Success in Life, Work, and Society
The Power of Integrative Learning: Higher Education for Success in Life, Work, and Society by William M. Sullivan will be published in June and is now available for preorder. Drawing on examples from the twenty-five members of the New American Colleges and Universities (NAC&U) consortium, the book makes the case for an approach that combines the strengths of the liberal arts, professional studies, and civic responsibility in order to give students the combination of skills and experiences that will prepare them for success in all aspects of life after graduation. NAC&U is a consortial partner in AAC&U’s LEAP initiative.
