Interagency Community Reinvestment Act Listening Session

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) cordially invite you to participate in an Interagency Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Listening Session on community and economic development needs and bank performance in Philadelphia. The session will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, 1709 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19103-1294. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8:30.
The purpose of the Listening Session is to assist staff of the bank regulatory agencies better understand the community and economic development needs and opportunities related to affordable housing, small business, community services and access to financial products and services in Philadelphia. We are reaching out to a select number of local representatives from community-based organizations and government agencies serving this area.
Your participation in this listening session will be beneficial in assisting bank examiners and community affairs staff in understanding:
• Current community and economic development needs
• General banking and credit needs
• Bank performance in meeting needs
• Opportunities for participation by local banks
