“The ASM Materials Science Camp was a phenomenal week of hands-on activities and labs. I never expected we would be doing activities such as making and testing cement pucks, synthesizing polymers, growing crystals, pouring molten metals and working with glass – all within a weeklong workshop. The instructors were well-versed in how to implement the concepts into an already-established curriculum. The guest speakers were enthusiastic about materials science and working with teachers to increase the numbers of students going into the field. This was the best week of professional development in my 17 years of teaching!”
Everything is FREE. This is made possible by the generous financial supporters of the ASM Materials Camp program, and the Philadelphia Chapter of ASM International.
