P. Buckley Moss Foundation Accepting Applications for Arts-Integrated Education Programs
The mission of the P. Buckley Moss Foundation for Children’s Education is to promote the integration of the arts into all educational programs, with a special focus on children who learn in different ways. The Moss Foundation was created and initially funded in 1995 by the P. Buckley Moss Society, an organization of more than fifteen thousand members worldwide. The society’s local chapters use creative fundraisers to support charitable projects within their communities.
The foundation is accepting is grant applications from pre-K-12 educators who need financial assistance to maintain or implement an arts education program in the 2017-18 school year. Grants of up to $1,000 will be awarded to support new or evolving programs that integrate the arts into educational programming. The purpose of the program is to assist teachers who wish to establish an effective learning tool using the arts in teaching children.
Pre-K-12 educators working in schools that serve all children (including students who learn differently) are eligible to apply.
Applicants must submit a completed original application, plus 4 additional copies, by September 30, 2016. (Facsimiles or email submissions will not be accepted, nor will incomplete application packets.)
Application packets will be accepted starting July 1. To be accepted, application packets must be postmarked no later than September 30.
