Teacher Focus Group
Posted by Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance on March 28, 2016
In 2015 the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance embarked on a discovery process to understand better the landscape of public education and the intersection between public schools and the arts and culture sector. Our goal was to determine if there was a role for us, as a service and leadership organization operating at a macro/aggregate level, to address the systemic barriers that make it difficult for cultural organizations to serve public schools. We invite teachers to take part in the next step of this process a teacher focus group, which will help us will dive deeper into the survey results and help us prioritize the ways we can be most helpful to teachers.
Please join us on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 4:30 – 6:00pm at Fresh Artist located at 3510 Scotts Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19129. One lucky teacher will receive a classroom workshop led by Philadelphia Young Playwrights. If you would like to attend or find out more information about the Teacher Focus Group, please contact me at rashandaf@philaculture.org or 215-399-3511. Please RSVP by noon on Friday, April 1st.
