SRC Strategy, Policy and Priorities (SPP) meeting – March 2, 2016
School District of Phila. Auditorium 440 N Broad, Phila 19130 | 5:30-7:30p
Principals, parents, teachers, students, and community members are invited to this SPP meeting where, upon conclusion, participants will have the chance to nominate themselves or others to sit on a Working Committee that will draft a new family engagement policy that will be presented to the SRC in late spring.
A panel (featuring Prin. Lukov of Southwark and others) will speak about their experiences with family engagement groups. Attendees will break up into small groups for discussion about best practices, common challenges and barriers to family engagement, and successes that people have had at their schools.
Please note: Translation and interpretation services will be made available, but we ask that participants requesting these services call the FACE Office (215-400-4180) beforehand so that we can prepare translated documents and provide the correct interpreter(s).
With questions, please call 215-400-4010. Download a flyer here.
