Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc., a dynamic nonprofit, is currently seeking a full-time an Adult Education Case Manager Coordinator to work within its Education and Workforce Services division and specifically in the Next Step Program. This program serves youth between the ages of 16 and 21 who have obtained a secondary credential, but who are disconnected from both work and school. The main tenets of the program
include post-secondary prep instruction, obtaining industry-recognized credentials, job-skills preparation and work experience opportunities, supportive and empowerment services. This position oversees the supervision of case management efforts of full-time Case Manager(s) in both the E3 Center and Next Step Program and maintains a positive student culture of high expectations and performance.

Essential Responsibilities
Overseeing daily case management efforts through the supervision of full-time case manager(s)
Work with program leadership to design program innovations and create solutions for programmatic challenges, particularly those directly affecting student culture and productivity
Demonstrate thorough knowledge and supervisory implementation of Congreso’s Primary Client Model approach to client service delivery
Oversee enrollment into the program, coordinate referrals, and facilitate orientation events to onboard incoming students to maintain monthly active student quota
Provide customer service to external referring agencies to ensure a seamless client referral process to Congreso’s E3 Center and Next Step Program
Report on client’s educational and social progress in detail through the use of data and reports
Attend staff meetings, retreats, and participate in external and internal training sessions
Data entry and analysis duties as assigned
Forecasts the educational and employment needs of each client based on their interests and abilities
Coordinate alumni events and provide leadership and mentorship opportunities for Next Step alumni
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or in a related Social Science field required (Associate’s Degree with significant years of work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree)
2-3 years of case management experience providing supportive services in a community setting
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
Masters in Social Work
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience working with TANF recipients preferred
