After School Tutoring Volunteers Needed: People’s Emergency Center (PEC)
PEC is seeking volunteer after school tutors. Assist PEC children with their homework, reading skills and teambuilding activities. The children are primarily in Kindergarten – 6th grade. Seeking volunteers on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, Monday – Friday, 3:30pm – 5:00pm. Please contact Meredith Pollock for more information at mpollock@pec-cares.org or 267-777-5829.
PEC is a homeless shelter for women and their children, located in West Philadelphia, within walking distance from Drexel and Penn. http://www.pec-cares.org
*All volunteers must have PA Criminal Record, Child Abuse Clearances, and FBI Criminal Background checks completed before starting ($25.75 total).*
