Effective Integration of Technology and Instruction
The U.S. Department of Education has found that students exposed to both face-to-face and online instruction are more successful than students exposed to only one of these types of teaching. Technologies of all sorts are ubiquitous in most children’s lives and are increasingly part of an educator’s toolbox of instructional strategies. Researchers are seeking ways to assess teachers’ knowledge of pedagogical strategies employing technology even as the education community continues to discover related best practices.
In this webinar, long-time educator and developer of education technology Michael Jay will discuss the importance of using technology to support learning and give examples of how teachers can integrate technology into their instruction based on the Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards.
