K-16 Partnerships Manager

The Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development (PHENND) is a consortium of institutions of higher education in the Philadelphia region. The K-16 Partnerships Manager will provide primary support to the higher ed partners providing services to over 40 schools as part of a new District-run GEAR UP grant. The K-16 Partnerships Manager will work also with various PHENND constituencies to build, sustain, and support university-school partnerships and networks. Currently, this includes disseminating a bi-monthly K-16 partnerships newsletter and organizing 4-6 K-16 Partnership Network events annually.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 3-5 years of experience strongly preferred
He or she should have a strong knowledge of issues in education, particularly in Philadelphia, the ability to work with a diverse cross section of the community and the ability to engage others and work in a team. The coordinator must be organized and be able to work independently. Competent in using Microsoft Office suite. Good presentation skills. Some local travel is required.
