Youth Service Fundamentals Webinar Series
As we start a new school year, YSA invites you to participate in an exciting webinar series this fall semester designed to explore the foundations of youth service and volunteerism.
This 4-part monthly webinar series will take an in-depth look at what service is and how volunteerism can be part of everyone’s daily life. We will feature youth experts, leading organizations, and educators who will share strategies and best practices to help you find your voice, take action, and make an impact. Each completed webinar will earn attendees a YSA Youth Service Fundamentals badge. Once an individual completes the whole 4-part webinar course, they will receive an official YSA Youth Service Fundamentals Certificate.
This series kicks off next week on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00pm Eastern when we will introduce Youth ASAP (Awareness, Service, Advocacy, and Philanthropy) and how these serve as the foundation of service and volunteering. Learn how to identify opportunities to incorporate different forms of youth-led service into your everyday life! We will ask “What is Youth ASAP?” and hear from young people, organizational experts, and educators what that looks like in real life.
