APF Invites Applications for Grant to Decrease Discrimination in Education

To that end, the foundation, in partnership with the F.I.S.H. Foundation, is accepting applications for the 2015 Visionary Grant to Decrease Ethnic and Racial Discrimination in Education.

A single grant of $20,000 will be awarded in of support research, education, or an intervention with the potential to reduce disparities in education and achievement as a result of discrimination and help minority students achieve their maximum potential.

Preference will be given to early career psychologists (ten years or fewer postdoctoral) and pilot projects that, if successful, would be strong candidates for support from major federal and foundation funding agencies and “demonstration projects” with potential for replication in other geographical areas and/or settings.

See the APF website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 1, 2015
