From Blight to Bloom: La Finquita Edition!
Saturday, September 12, 2015, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
428 Master St., Philadelphia, PA
Join Keep Philadelphia Beautiful and South Kensington Community Partners for a day of service at La Finquita Farm, complete with a walking tour and picnic. Learn about the history of Kensington and neighborhood based solutions to blight – and give back to the City all at the same time. We’ll be weeding, painting, turning compost piles and more, so come prepared to ask questions and get dirty – and then join us for a community picnic!
This is the second in a series of urban garden work days being hosted by Keep Philadelphia Beautiful. Give us a call (215-854-4000) or shoot us an email (info@keepphiladelphiabeautiful.org) with questions!
