Spark Philadelphia seeks school partners

Partnership Opportunity: Spark Philadelphia
After two years of successful programming with 7th and 8th graders in our initial Philadelphia partner schools, Spark is pleased to seek new partners for 2015-2016. Through Spark, middle school students are placed in hands-on professional apprenticeships. This unique apprenticeship model for increases academic engagement in at-risk students.
Spark works because students thrive in hands-on, interest-driven learning experiences, in the context of a supportive mentor relationship. To learn more, and be considered for partnership, we invite your school leadership to join us at one of our information sessions:
Thursday, March 12th, 3-4 pm; Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street
Weds, March 18th, 2-3 pm; Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street
Please RSVP to Jim Schroder at jschroder@sparkprogram.org, or call 215-798-0007.
