Inequality Is Shrinking Our Economy
Rising inequality over the last 20 years reduced U.S. economic growth by 7 percent, according to a new report from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. To change this trend, the report recommends policies to boost the earnings of low-income workers, including increased financial assistance and investments in education, health care, and other social services.
