Third Annual Community Economic Development Summit
March 30 to April 1, 2009, DoubleTree Hotel, Washington, D.C.
The conference is organized by the National Alliance of Community Economic Development Associations (NACEDA), which was formed in 2006 by 15 state community economic development associations to develop and pursue a national community economic development agenda. The conference includes panels on the new Congress, community development in the new administration, and rural issues.
Diane Sterner, executive director of the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey, chairs NACEDA’s board of directors, while Rick Sauer, executive director of the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations, is a member of NACEDA’s board.
