Healthy Families America: New Home-Visiting Program for Families in North Philadelphia
Maternity Care Coalition (MCC) has begun offering Healthy Families America (HFA) services in the North Philadelphia community. HFA is a home-visiting program that helps promote positive parenting, healthy child development, and overall family wellbeing. We help build on parents’ skills so babies can have the best start, share the most up-to-date information on pregnancy and parenting, and connect families with medical and social services if needed. Services are offered in both English and Spanish. Families can enroll during pregnancy or if they have a child under 6 months old.
For more information, and to receive our brochure and flier, please email Hannah Michelle Brower at hbrower@maternitycarecoalition.org or call us at 267-773-5130. Clients may also call this number directly to learn more about and enroll in this program.
Maternity Care Coalition’s mission is to improve maternal child health and well-being through the collaborative efforts of individuals, families, providers, and communities. Our strategy of building trust with families enables us to develop ongoing relationships with parents and help them access a range of services and programs that improve the quality of their lives and those of their young children.
