About The New Agrarian Center
The New Agrarian Center (NAC) connects grassroots communities in an effort to grow a healthy local food system – healthy for body, land, economy, and community. Based out of the George Jones Farm and Nature Preserve in Oberlin, OH, the NAC offers a young farmer incubator and solution-center for providing the basic needs of food, energy, and shelter while enhancing environmental quality. The NAC also operates City Fresh, a social enterprise that seeks to improve local food access and the health of urban communities through local food distribution, urban agriculture, youth programs, and community education.
