Boys Write Now
Philadelphia – Boys in grades 7-12- Dads, Big Brothers too!
Free Art & Writing Workshop with ASPCP (Astrosteez Pretty Cool Peasant hip hop collective), WragsInk (designers and publishers), Lamont Dixon (poet and spoken word artist), and more.
Imagine a space where young men play, tinker and make: video games, comics, sports, rap music, dance, lyrics, movies, poetry, war games, graphics, stories and more….
The 2014 summer Boys Write Now, Philadelphia program, is going to be bigger and better.
The workshop is made possible by support from Scholastic Art and Writing Awards & the Philadelphia Writing Project with additional funding provided by the 2014 BMe award and Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity at the University of Pennsylvania.

August 8th (University of PA Museum 3260 South Street ) 10:AM – 2:PM
August 15th (Impact Hub 1247 N 4th Street – Northern Liberties) 10:AM – 2-PM
Lunch and refreshments will provided. Door prizes (sporting good gift cards, books and iTune cards) will also be awarded.
