What is the Science Inquiry Institute?
This week-long professional development is a space for you to learn how you can bring more science inquiry to your school yard and classroom. Inquiry science education is a pedagogical method of using exploration, discovery and investigative questioning to teach science related content.
What will the week look like?
Each day we will focus on a BIG IDEA about inquiry science weaving in the content taught through the CORE Science Modules. We will also be taking field trips to other educational places.
Monday – All about our Senses
Tuesday – Be Curious!
Wednesday – Investigate
Thursday – Collect and Analyze Data
Friday – Communicate the Findings
Your Commitment?
To secure a space you will be required to submit via mail a deposit of $75.00. Your deposit will be returned to you on the last day of the workshop in full.
