Director of Grants and Stewardship, Philadelphia Futures
Posted on: June 19, 2014
Philadelphia Futures is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide low-income, first-generation-to-college students with the tools, resources and opportunities necessary for admission to and success in college. In 2011 White-Williams Scholars — with a 200-year history of serving students living in poverty — and Philadelphia Futures with a 23-year track record of helping Philadelphia students enter and succeed in college – merged. Following the merger, the organization undertook a strategic planning process. The Plan that emerged reaffirmed the strength of our work and identified areas for smart growth. Accordingly, Philadelphia Futures is seeking to increase its capacity to raise the funds and recruit the volunteers needed to support its existing programs and launch new initiatives – all on a sustainable basis.
Philadelphia Futures has a budget of $3 million and a staff of 30.
