Impact and Analytics Manager, Salvation Army Eastern PA & Delaware

The Associate Director of Analytics & Impact is responsible for driving and supporting the development and maintenance of all strategic outcome-based program initiatives and partnerships which support The Salvation Army’s efforts. The Associate Director will oversee the design and maintenance of The Salvation Army’s performance management systems, all data collection using Efforts-To-Outcomes software (ETO), and internal evaluation efforts. The Associate Director serves as a resource to those who manage Salvation Army programs and is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the systems and tools to both assess and evaluate the efficacy of the programs; facilitating program and staff development based on the results. The Associate Director will lead in shaping the organization’s infrastructure to support accurate measurement, analysis, and reporting of work, creating a “data-rich ecosystem” in which senior leadership, managers, and other key players actively use data to make decisions that support outcome-based programming.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, as well as, experience in information management, database administration, and/or data collection required.
  • At least two (2) years related professional work experience in the following areas: database administration/management, data analysis, data design or a combination.
  • Advanced knowledge of data management systems; previous work with ETO software is an asset.
  • Experience in outcomes management and logic model development.
  • Experience and capacity to develop strong skills in data analysis, GIS, mapping and geography, especially relating to urban issues.
  • Exceptional report writing and presentation skills, including data visualization/presentation.
  • Knowledge of the non-profit sector and social service delivery systems preferred.
  • Experience in planning, organizing and prioritizing workloads, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with and to support multiple members of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
