Now recruiting for 1 SERVE Philadelphia VISTA to work at the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability
The AmeriCorps VISTA working on this project will assist the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability with supporting the Philadelphia Food Policy Advisory Council (FPAC).
The VISTA will work with the Food Policy Advisory Council to increase the involvement of low-income individuals in the FPAC. The FPAC Outreach Coordinator will work to develop materials and strategies to recruit and involve low-income individuals in FPAC work setting the food policy agenda and ultimately improving food access in Philadelphia. This position will provide ample opportunities to work with individuals throughout City government and in the community.
