Join this outstanding professional development opportunity as professionals come together to discuss the ever-changing landscape of higher education and discuss how institutions are integral parts of their communities. This symposium on Service-Learning is focusing on reciprocity and assessing the community engagement work that is done on campuses around the country.

This symposium is geared toward new to mid-level professionals and scholars who work with service-learning in co-curricular, curricular, and tangential manners. Graduate students, academic faculty, and community partners are also welcome to join the symposium and the discussion.

This symposium is partnered with the American Democracy Project to co-locate the event, with American Democracy Project National meeting taking place following this symposium in the same hotel.

By Participating in the symposium, attendees will:

• Develop a common language for service-learning
• Explore key elements of the fundamentals of service-learning
• Exchange best practices
• Connect with one another
