We are pleased to announce May teleconference call on Volunteers Working with Ex-Offenders who also have Disabilities.
Date:
Thursday, May 17th, from 3 ? 4 pm EST
Description:
Many ex-offenders have non-apparent disabilities and may not even know it. Non-apparent disabilities can vary from learning disabilities to different forms of depression. This teleconference call will focus on how to best work with ex-offenders with disabilities to successfully be part of their community/society. Our two presenters will talk about the reentry program, share useful resources, and strategies to working with ex-offenders with disabilities. Case study and ideas for accommodations will be shared here as well. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers.
