New Website: Student Loan Debt Clock

ANNOUNCING THE NATIONAL STUDENT LOAN DEBT CLOCK
In the early nineties, less than 1/3 of graduates from 4 year public colleges had loan debt. Now over 2/3 of them do! Student loan debt limits opportunity.
The PIRGs’ National Student Loan Debt Clock is up and running to highlight this problem at http://www.studentdebtalert.org. Right before your very eyes you can see the massive student loan debt burden in this country get larger and larger by the second. The goal of the clock is to drive folks to action on higher education issues. There is a small contest for students to win balls and chains they can wear at Commencement as a tongue in cheek way to draw attention to the problem.
Please publicize this to your various student bases.
And, put a free banner ad of the debt clock on YOUR website! Check out the banners at http://www.studentdebtalert.org/banners. Contact me with the one you want and we can make it happen.
Sincerely,
Christine Lindstrom
