Service-Learning Intern Job Description:
The School District of Philadelphia is seeking a college part-time intern to support the Partnerships in Character Education grant. The position involves providing administrative and organizational services including; database development and management, general administrative tasks (copying, phone calls, creating documents/binders/folders for events), and providing support for professional development and grant events. This individual must be organized, experienced with Excel and detail-oriented. This is a paid position and the weekly hours are flexible and can be adjusted to meet the candidate?s school schedule. Preference will be given to candidates interested in service-learning and/or urban education. This position has a flexible start date, beginning either at the end of August but no later than September 4, 2007.
