Sales Person/ Level Two – Job Description
GENERAL DEFINITION
The Sales Person is responsible for the development and maintenance of transitional work experiences and unsubsidized job placements for all participants of TWC. The Sales Person visits and screens individual work sites, develops specific work orders for each work site, and ensures that there are adequate jobs for all participants of the TWC program, including jobs for special needs participants (such as bilingual participants or participants with limited reading skills).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization?s mission, that being to enable TWC participants to become placed in and retain employment for at least six months after placement.
? Develop job orders for transitional work experiences and unsubsidized placements, ensuring that there is a constant pool of orders into which participants can be placed. This includes, but is not limited to:
o Making a minimum of 50 outbound calls/emails cold calls per day.
o Visiting two outside appointments per day for a total of ten outside appointments per week.
o Making a minimum of ten placements per month. (subjected to retention guidelines)
o Arrange for permanent work site visit prior to placement of first candidates.
? Communicate with facilitators to learn about participant?s skills or special needs that may be relevant in developing new transitional work experiences and unsubsidized placements.
? Maintain a list of accounts in organizational database and properly identify ownership.
? Develop employer profile in outlook that includes all contact information.
? Update account information daily with activity notes.
? Perform Job Matching Process as needed to pair participants to available Job Orders.
? Maintain and expand business relationships with existing permanent worksites.
? Ensure that job orders are filled in a timely and effective manner.
? Complete all processes and forms in a timely manner and post where appropriate. Including but not limited to: Participant Assessment, Job Matching, Job Order Processing, Interview Slip Processing, Employment Verification Form (EVF), Outlook Corporate Account Profiles and Participant Case Notes.
? Update a cumulative report with placement information on a weekly basis.
? Participate in weekly sales meetings.
? Attend and participate in all staff and team weekly meetings.
? Present a quarterly sales presentation to Senior and Middle Management.
? Distribute trans-passes and checks to participants during extended hours.
? Perform other work as assigned.
