Seeking "Beyond Oil" Organizer

The Shalom Center seeks an effective activist organizer with knowledge of Jewish and other wisdom traditions to organize in the Jewish and other religious and some secular communities for our "Beyond Oil" project. This requires working with congregations and shaping conferences of religious and secular folks — to develop liturgies, sermons, social action, and ongoing covenant-groups to encourage efforts to reduce the use of oil/ and gasoline by households, congregants, the congregation as a body, and the society as a whole — by making an impact on personal behavior and public policy.
