Family Advocate, PathWaysPa
Posted by on May 15, 2004
I just wanted to let you know that we have two job opportunities in our Family Advocacy Program based at our community site in West Philadelphia (44th & Chestnut). One position is open right now and another will be shortly. Below is the ad we ran in the Inquirer. We need persons who are interested in helping persons attain economic self-sufficiency with a focus on mediation around public benefits problems. We would like a person who has had some exposure to or interest in welfare and other issues affecting lower-income families, but we are willing to train an interested and committed person. They must have a bachelors degree because of our funding. If you know anyone or want to talk further about this, please call Mary Sutton at (215) 387-1470 or me at (610) 543-5022.
SOCIAL SERVICES Case Manager/Family Advocate for innovative, community based welfare advocacy program. BA/BS degree plus some experience in human services, knowledge of welfare preferred. Bilingual a plus. Fax resume to MS at (215) 222-3720
