Bilingual Interviewer/Research Assistant Positions

The Community and Homecare Research Division of Thomas Jefferson University is seeking individuals to fill both full-time and part-time positions of Interviewer/Research Assistant for research projects concerning frail elders and family caregivers of Alzheimer?s disease patients.

Qualifications

The applicant should have a bachelor?s or master’s degree preferably in a social or behavioral science. He/she must be bilingual in Spanish and English with experience with family caregivers or elderly populations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

? Conducting 3-4 in-home interviews per week with family caregivers or with community-dwelling elders in Philadelphia. Each interview takes about 2 hours.

? Assisting in recruitment and telephone screening of prospective participants

? Assisting in preparation of recruitment and interview.

? Assisting in administration of research projects.
