Life skills Counselor – PT Position to work with students in an extended day program from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Must be available two Saturdays per month. Responsibilities include group facilitation, case management, and parent involvement. Twenty hours per week for an individual with two years experience working with youth in prevention programs. Must have at least a High School Diploma. Child abused clearance and criminal check a must.

Recreation Aide PT position to work with students in an extended day program, from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Must be available two Saturdays per month. Responsibilities include planning daily activities, implementing a basketball team, attending trips/outings. Twenty hours per week for an individual with experience at least two years experience providing recreation activities for youth. Must have at least a High School Diploma. Child abused clearance and criminal check a must.

Parenting Instructor PT position to facilitate parenting skills on Saturdays. Knowledge and certification in the Strengthening Multi-ethnic Families and Communities Programa must, with at least two years experience working with families.

NAC Community Organizer-Southwest CDC is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated individual who enjoys public speaking and community involvement to fill its opening.

NAC activities and programs include the following: Promote programs and services of Southwest CDC and the City, facilitate education workshops associated with NAC programs, link organizations and institutions to the community and create and distribute a quarterly newsletter This is an hourly position. The employee will be considered a part-time employee who will be required to work a 30-hour flexible workweek.
