Positions for Teaching Artists at Fleisher

TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES and REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS
We are seeking TEACHING ARTISTS for in-school and after-school programs with experience in the following media:
Book Arts,/Papermaking, Visual Arts/Drawing & Painting, Fiber/Printmaking/Quilting, Sculpture/Clay/Paper Mache
In-school residencies: Programs run 6-8 weeks. Spring Programs begin in February with orientation and planning meetings in January.
After-School Residencies with the Southeast Philadelphia Collaborative: Programs run for 6-13 weeks beginning in mid-January and ending in May. PROPOSALS REQUESTED
We are also looking to place Artists in a special after-school program that runs M-Thursday 5-6 and Fri 3-6, with a three-hour block of time on two Saturday?s each Month.
We are looking for professional artists with prior art education experience K-12 in school or after school. For in-school residencies, previous experience as an artist-in-residence in public schools is highly recommended.
